
Mission Statement
To promote and advocate for the rights and well-being of Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals of Asian descent. NADC focuses on fostering a sense of community, providing resources and support, and raising awareness about the unique cultural and linguistic needs of Asian Deaf individuals. The organization also aims to empower its members through education, leadership development, and advocacy efforts to ensure their full inclusion and participation in all aspects of society.
Our Goals
a) Be a resource for civil rights advocacy, social justice, and human rights of Asian/Pacific Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing persons and their families;
b) Provide training opportunities for Asian Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing persons,
their families, and the professionals who work with them;
c) Encourage opportunities and structures to address educational and economic
upward mobility, equal employment opportunities, and networking for Asian Deaf and Hard-of-hearing people;
d) Promote cultural and ethnic identities and pride, sharing and celebrating their
history and traditions;
e) Promote collaborative relationships and alliances among Asian Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing, and hearing Asian communities, organizations, and professionals;
f) Empower individual family and community development: Promote individual self-esteem among Asian Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals and their families;
g) Establish a national clearinghouse of information and research related to Asian Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals, families, and communities, establishing ways to discuss and disseminate this information to individuals, families, and professionals;
h) Provide acculturation assistance and support for newly arrived Asian Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing immigrants and their families, especially with regard to communication needs;
i) Promote effective fund-raising activities to accomplish the above-mentioned goals.

Logo Description
1. Color Scheme: The logo uses three primary colors: orange, blue, and white.
2. Design:
• The central design is an orange hand making a fist, positioned vertically.
• The hand is superimposed on a white circular background.
• On the left side of the hand, there is a blue semicircle with three white stars arranged vertically.
• On the right side of the hand, there are three red vertical stripes on a white background.
3. Text: Surrounding the circular design, the text “NATIONAL ASIAN DEAF CONGRESS” is written in blue, capitalized letters forming a semicircle around the top.
NADC is a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
